Our mission is to effectively advocate for addiction services, Prevention education and Treatment for addicted persons and their families in Monroe County.
1. Reduce the stigma to ensure that those suffering from the disease of addiction and those in recovery from this disease are treated fairly.
2. Advocate for policy change that recognizes and supports the following:
- Alcohol and drug addiction is a disease
- Recovery happens every day
- Support for prevention, treatment and research is critical.
3. Build a strong active constituency.
